El Salvador - Light Roast

Tasting Notes: Dark Chocolate, Caramel, Dried Fruit, Almond, Red Apple
Origin: Santa Ana, El Salvador
Process: Washed
Variety: Bourbon, Pacas
Roast Level: Light

This light roast from the Santa Ana region of El Salvador is all about balance, clarity, and quiet depth.

Grown on the volcanic slopes of Santa Ana at elevations ranging from 1100–1600 MASL, these beans come from various smallholder farmers cultivating classic Bourbon and Pacas varieties. The high elevation slows cherry development, creating denser beans and a more layered, nuanced cup.

Roasted light to preserve origin character, this coffee opens with soft notes of dark chocolate and caramel, followed by dried fruit and almond. A gentle brightness brings in hints of red apple, giving the cup a clean, lively finish without sharp acidity.

The washed processing method allows the true terroir to shine—highlighting Santa Ana’s signature profile: smooth, chocolaty, nutty, and subtly fruity. Hand-sorted to European Preparation standards, this coffee delivers a consistently clean, high-quality cup.

Approachable yet expressive, this El Salvador light roast is perfect for those who enjoy a refined, well-structured coffee with warmth, sweetness, and just enough brightness to keep things interesting.
